This year when Rick was preparing for the ASID Dream Home, they were able to pull from Sarah's new "unreleased hand blocked textiles collection" for this special occasion. Rick wanted something unique and fresh for his urban library.

Sarah gave Rick a private showing specifically with flanking the back wall with silk hand printed drapery. Working with his custom color scheme and hitting a color between two selected shades on the Dunn Edwards color wheel. A perfect paring for the space as well to accent the tonal range represented in the wall covering. As always it was a true pleasure working with Rick, we are looking forward to partnering with him on future projects.

"Rick Campos is the owner of Christopher Tracy Interiors in Newport Beach, California and specializes in residential interior design.
Even when she wanted to rearrange her room, she was sketching floor plans and measuring all her furniture to ensure the new arrangement would fit. Sarah was very creative building houses for her dolls, with the magic of cardboard and wallpaper Sarah was unstoppable. Sarah attended a high school in Altamonte Springs Florida, where not only was she able to follow art she played 3 separate sports. Played as a varsity player on the undefeated golf team. With the support of her art education teacher who pushed Sarah to “think outside the box”, this would support her in her move to Detroit, Michigan’s prestigious Collage for Creative Studies to purse her art education. Sarah Majored in Interior Design with a minor in Furniture Design and Graphic Design. Though her declared major all students were required to follow though with a foundations program. This included glass blowing, gas welding, wood shop, figure drawings, painting, book making, chalk drawing, and extensive art history. Though out her education Sarah was privy to classes being held at the art museum, including a private showing of Degas’ original sketches from his private sketchbook.

Sarah’s education is unparallel for her industry, she has the ability to walk anyone through their space and have them fall in love with the potential of their space!

Since Sarah has launched her furniture and textiles collection she has filled a void in the industry. She brings such care and attention to details for what has been missing; the level of attention for her product also transcends in her design work and the customer service to all o f her clients.

Her textiles are unparallel to any hand printed goods on the market. 23 amazing patterns with an amazingly unique color palate.

The new look

Every season there is a reason for change.
This Fall season Sarah has changed the beat of interior textiles. Her launch of her fall collection handbolcked on silks changed the pace of where handprinting textiles will be capable of going!

Lagre scale patterns, hand painted stripes, and bold bright colors like never seen before.

She has adopted a fasion show as her platform for her presentation. This is the second year that Sarah has had a collection launch that was unparrelle to any other product reveal. Set to love music, fun festive Moulin Rouge theamed garments to showcase wild color combintations, patterns, and textures in a turly unique presentation.

A vendor came up to us and asked for our help on her granddaughter’s room. What an amazing project, kids rooms are always so much fun to design.

This was not your ordinary little girl; she is filled with energy and lots of spunk! We proposed a new spin on the ordinary “pink decor” we needed lots of flavor! Considering she is only two years old we needed something playful and a space she can grow into. Themed kids rooms seem to only work for a maximum of two years because no little girl wants to keep her Barbie poster hanging on the wall with all the matching decor.

As a focal point we anchored the room with a cherry blossom tree. We were able to customize the tree with our color scheme. The white and raspberry blossoms spanning across her bedroom were reflected in the mirrored closet doors appearing as if she was in her very own personal garden. The tree created for this room was a 6’-0” decal, considering the growth needed for the room we selected a decal as an alternative for a mural. The beauty behind the decals is they can be custom and fully removable without harming the paint.

Other accent decals in the room included her name above her bed and doves on her play set furniture. The play set was refinished from an espresso brown to a raspberry and layering the polka-dot fabric for custom cushions. We found the perfect fabric from Maxwell fabrics the custom duvet, euro pillows, chair cushions, as well as accent pillows.

Seat cushions were designed as a custom box cushion using two Maxwell fabrics. We used polka-dot pattern on the top side and solid raspberry on the bottom, as well as for the self-welt and ties.

The duvet consists of three fabrics: solid raspberry shown in a 7” trim framing the duvet. Front side center polka-dot pattern called “Smarties” and on the reverse a two-tone raspberry plaid. When the bed is folded back you see both patterns, it also allows her to change the pattern based on her mood.

Cassandra Pattern- Destination Inspiration

Cassandra pattern was created as an embellishment of a vintage pendant. A burst of personality radiating form the center, stacking the pattern within a pattern and embracing it with a radial orb which consists of smaller concentric ellipses. Many small intricate patterns make up this large pattern. A truly great addition to any room in the form of accessories or a focal piece of furniture, this pattern is like your favorite cocktail ring! Fearless!

Cassandra’s pattern was featured in the Pasadena showcase house in Jon Jahr’s room on pillows.

The pattern’s names were selected from each model that walked in Sarah’s Original Runway show in 2010.

The space was completely bare; we were given 5 days to set up, 5 days of display and 1 day to tear down! In true Designer Tradition we needed to start off with a dramatic statement “flooring”. What’s better than solid wood? Not many floors can compete with flooring that was restored from 19’ wine barrel’s. Everyone was surprised that we had flooring installed for a one-week event. We loved that our floor installers took pride in their work and it showed in the space, they worked with tight timeline. Gerridy’s also provided the flooring, the lovely shag rug for the back of the house along with a full wine racking system.

Kenneth McDonald provided accessories, outdoor furniture and perfectly with the mirrored sideboard which anchored the space. The sideboard also held a flat screen TV and all its components from DL Technologies.
